Brown Rice Bread Review

Hello everyone! Today I was excited to buy a loaf of the EnerG gluten-free breads available at Bangsar Village Grocer. Boy, was I disappointed! I purchased the Brown Rice one – there are a few varieties – and don’t think I will get past the second slice!

There are several varieties of EnerG bread. I bought the Brown Rice one. Perhaps others are better.

The appearance is fine, but the texture is dry and dense. Worst of all is the taste – it’s sort of sweet and sour, if you can imagine that – and just overall strange.

The texture is fine but the taste - ugh! - was strange. Sweet and sour, dense, dry.

I would give this a skip, though I was initially so hopeful! Non-GMO, few ingredients, allergy conscious – all signalled positive. Too bad the product itself is a letdown.

Peace,

Daisy

Supplement Brands!

Hello Folks!

Most of us digestion- and absorption-challenged people tend to be on supplements. I thought I’d share some of the better brands I’ve used so far. Even though I live in Malaysia, I get most of these shipped to me from the USA via iherbs.com.

My favorite brands to date: Mega Foods, Gaia, Now, Pure Encapsulations, Thorne, and some Blue Bonnet. Pure Encapsulations is really great but pricey. Blue Bonnet is budget-friendly but watch out for the magnesium stearate. Avoid that filler.

Peace,
Daisy
