Here’s a little sweet treat for you all: GF macaroons at a designer pastry shop in Petaling Jaya. The macaroons are currently the only gluten-free option on the menu, but they are totally worth it! RM4 for one, RM23 for 6.

For those who like to plan ahead – *far* ahead – for Chinese New Year buffets, I’d highly recommend the one at the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur. Right next to KLCC! They can tailor specifically to GF diets – you won’t feel left out at all – not even with the yee sang tossing! They offer a full course GF menu, which includes dessert.
